Data Engineer – Building Data Pipelines
People Connect Consultants helps businesses make smarter decisions with data. We build the systems that collect, clean, and organize information so our clients can understand their customers and grow their businesses.
As a Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the pipelines that move data from different sources into a usable format. You’ll design and build data warehouses and data lakes, making sure the data is reliable and easy to access. You’ll work with other engineers, data scientists, and analysts to understand what data they need and how to best deliver it. This includes making sure the data is accurate, secure, and follows best practices. You’ll also automate tasks and improve the performance of existing data systems.
We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of Python, including libraries like pandas and PySpark. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is important, as is familiarity with SQL and databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB. Knowing about ETL tools like AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory would be a plus. Experience with tools like Airflow or Git is also helpful.
This position is based in Gurugram and is an onsite role.
