What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise ETL processes for global client platforms.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to deliver accurate, timely data solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries and database code for large‑scale data handling.
- Apply version control, code reviews, and data validation best practices.
- Automate routine data tasks to streamline delivery pipelines.
- Build trusted relationships with peers and clients across local and global teams.
- Ensure compliance with Mastercard policies and external regulations.
What You Need
- BE/BTech (or ME/MTech) in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands‑on experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design for scalable solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues independently.
- Excellent English communication and quantitative problem‑solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Interest in modern developer productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
