Data Engineer, People Analytics – India
Help power Zoom’s People Experience (PX) organization by building a reliable, scalable data platform that turns raw HR data into actionable workforce insights. You’ll work closely with IT and HR partners to design robust ETL pipelines and maintain high‑quality datasets that drive strategic decisions.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement ETL pipelines integrating multiple HR systems into unified datasets.
Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure with Airflow orchestration and dbt transformations.
Develop optimized data models and schemas supporting PX reporting needs.
Create data‑quality monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of data engineering experience.
Strong SQL and Python proficiency for data manipulation and analysis.
2+ years hands‑on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
2+ years hands‑on experience with dbt for data transformation.
Expertise in AWS data services and cloud infrastructure.
Good to Have
Experience with Workday or similar HR systems.
Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
