Data Engineer- Snowflake — Data Engineer – Snowflake – Mumbai Build robust, high‑performance data pipelines for a fast‑growing technology firm. You’ll shape the core analytics platform using Snowflake, ensuring data is clean, accessible, and delivered in near real‑time. What You’ll Do Design dimensional models (facts, dimensions) for optimal performance and reuse. Develop and maintain ELT pipelines (batch and streaming) with advanced SQL tuning. Implement orchestration and dependency management for data workflows. Build API‑based integration interfaces and manage data contracts. Enforce data‑quality checks, validation rules, and observability. Use Git and CI/CD to promote code and data assets across environments. Support production incidents, perform triage, and monitor SLA compliance. What You Need 5–8 years of data engineering experience with Snowflake. Strong SQL and Python for building transformation pipelines. Proven expertise in dimensional modeling (star, snowflake schemas). Hands‑on experience creating ELT or streaming pipelines with orchestration. Proficiency with Git and basic CI/CD for data workloads. Knowledge of data‑quality practices and monitoring tools. Ability to design/consume APIs and manage data contracts; exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP. Good to Have Experience with dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran for ELT orchestration. Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or Kafka streaming technologies. Working knowledge of cloud warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift) and cost/performance tuning.
