Data Engineer SQL – Remote (m/w/d) — Data Engineer SQL – Ghaziabad (Remote) | 6‑Month Contract

We need an experienced Azure Data Engineer to build and scale the analytics platform that powers reporting, modeling and business insights. The role is hands‑on, focusing on reliable data foundations in a cloud‑first environment. It’s a fully remote, six‑month contract across India.

What You’ll Do
Build and maintain scalable Azure data pipelines.
Ingest and transform data from multiple enterprise systems, including ERP sources.
Implement Medallion architecture layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
Optimize performance, reliability and data quality across the platform.
Collaborate with data modelers and analysts to deliver analytics‑ready datasets.
Support downstream reporting and dashboarding use cases.

What You Need
Proven Azure Data Engineer experience (mid‑senior to senior level).
Hands‑on with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse or similar tools.
Strong SQL and data‑transformation skills.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics workloads.
Understanding of data modeling and ability to work with BI teams.
Exposure to ERP data (Oracle ERP a plus).
Ability to thrive in a collaborative remote team.

Good to Have
Direct experience with Oracle ERP data integration.
