Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Kubernetes (EKS) DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters on AWS. The role involves managing AWS infrastructure, automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring container and network security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable seamless application integration. The candidate will play a key role in optimizing AWS services, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud-native applications.
Must Have Skills (Mandatory)
• Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Expertise in Kubernetes (AWS EKS) deployment and management.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization best practices.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and security in cloud environments.
Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)
• Familiarity with container and network security best practices.
• Exposure to application development methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (diagrams, procedures, configs).
• Collaboration experience with development, QA, and IT security teams.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
