Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain FIS applications (e.g., Profile, OPF, IBS, Clear2Pay)
• Work on integration projects between FIS systems and internal/external platforms using APIs, web services, or file-based exchanges
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application code
• Develop and maintain batch processing jobs, reporting modules, and transaction processing components
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers during the entire SDLC
• Perform unit testing, support system integration testing, and troubleshoot production issues
• Support FIS platform upgrades, patches, and release management
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security policies, and internal standards
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3+ years of experience working as a developer with FIS systems (e.g., FIS Profile, Clear2Pay, IBS, OPF)
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, COBOL, or PL/SQL, depending on the FIS product in use
• Strong understanding of core banking functions, payment systems, and financial transaction flows
• Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2)
• Knowledge of API development, web services (SOAP/REST), and integration strategies
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SDLC-based development environments
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines
