Freelance Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer — Senior Consultant – Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer – Remote | Contract
Join a fast‑growing tech team to design, build, and sustain enterprise‑grade backend systems. You’ll work on core Java services, micro‑services, and cloud‑native APIs, delivering high‑performance solutions for demanding business domains.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement scalable Java JEE and Spring Boot services.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
Optimize performance and troubleshoot production incidents.
Write clean, testable code following established standards.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps throughout the SDLC.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand‑ups.
What You Need
6–10 years of hands‑on Java backend development.
Expert in Java 8/11/17 and Java EE.
Strong experience with Spring Boot, MVC, Security, and Data JPA.
Proven track record building micro‑services and RESTful web services.
Solid SQL skills with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server.
Maven or Gradle build‑tool proficiency.
Git version control and deep understanding of multithreading/JVM tuning.
Good to Have
Docker and Kubernetes container expertise.
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Messaging systems knowledge (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS).
CI/CD pipeline setup using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
