Role Description

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer intern with strong hands-on experience in React and Next.js.

This is a frontend-ownership role — you will be responsible for building and maintaining the interfaces that power our platform.

You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ship high-quality, performant, and scalable UI systems.

##What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React and Next.js
• Design reusable components and scalable UI architectures
• Implement SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and routing using Next.js best practices
• Integrate frontend with REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints
• Optimize performance through lazy loading, code splitting, and memoization techniques
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible UI
• Collaborate with designers to convert Figma designs into production-ready UI
• Maintain clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

##What We’re Looking For

• Exposure to frontend development
• Strong expertise in:
• React (hooks, lifecycle, performance)
• Next.js (SSR, SSG, routing)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with REST APIs and basic GraphQL usage
• Working knowledge of TypeScript
• Strong understanding of responsive design and UI principles
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• Good grasp of data structures and algorithms with ability to apply them in real-world backend problems (e.g., optimizing queries, caching strategies, rate limiting)

## Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Not mandatory, but candidates with the following will be given preference:

• State management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil)
• UI libraries (Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Chakra UI, shadcn/ui)
• Understanding of accessibility (a11y) best practices
• Experience with Figma or design collaboration tools
• Basic familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
• Backend exposure using NestJS or Go
