About the Role
The Expert Witness App is looking for Fullstack Developers with a strong frontend focus to help build and scale our Progressive Web Application. You’ll work closely with our small, collaborative team to turn Figma designs into responsive, secure, and performant user experiences while integrating APIs and maintaining a consistently high standard of code.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy balancing frontend craftsmanship with backend problem-solving, and are motivated to ship high-quality features quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Create a responsive Progressive Web Application from Figma designs
• Build secure, high-quality UI components and optimise for performance
• Develop and integrate APIs with external corporate systems
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver features on time
Must-Have Skills
• React (4+ years) – Strong proficiency in building responsive, interactive UIs
• PostgreSQL (2+ years) – Experience with schema design, queries, and optimisation
• Python (1+ year) – Competence in backend logic and API development
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Responsive UI development experience
• Secure UI web development practices
• UI performance optimisation techniques
