Global Sustaining Engineering Intern | Aera Job

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of a Global Sustain Engineering Intern, primarily working in the US time zone with one-hour reporting as per the India time zone. This role will involve supporting our engineering team by addressing issues and communicating effectively between the US and India teams. The intern will report directly to Lead Sustaining Engineering, ensuring smooth coordination and timely reporting of issues.

Responsibility

• • Actively monitor and address issues reported by the US/Global team during their working hours.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team in India to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to Lead regarding ongoing tasks and completed work.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Assist in documenting processes, debugging, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

About You

• • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and debugging techniques.
  • Experience with Jira, and version control systems such as Git would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • The intern will primarily work remotely from home; however, occasional visits to the Aera office in Pune is necessary for knowledge transfer sessions and essential interactions with the team.
