Hiring: Part time Software Engineer — Part Time Software Engineer – Full-Stack & Data Engineering (Arcus / Cadre) – India | Part‑time
You will join a small engineering team to keep two enterprise platforms running smoothly. The role blends full‑stack development with data‑pipeline engineering, giving you impact across both front‑end and back‑end services.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain Java Spring Boot services for the Arcus platform.
Create responsive UI components using Angular or a comparable front‑end framework.
Design and implement Python‑based ETL pipelines with PySpark.
Develop and tune SQL queries and relational database schemas.
Model, validate, and optimise data flows for the Cadre platform.
Monitor production systems and troubleshoot enterprise‑grade issues.
Contribute to documentation and knowledge‑sharing within the team.
What You Need
Strong Java programming skills with Spring Boot experience.
Proficiency in Angular (or modern front‑end framework).
Solid Python development background.
Production‑level experience with PySpark.
Advanced SQL and relational database expertise.
Hands‑on experience building ETL and data pipelines.
Ability to support and maintain enterprise applications.
Good to Have
Familiarity with S3‑compatible object storage.
Experience with data modeling and performance optimisation.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
