IBM Sterling Engineer/Developer (Java) – Hyderabad | Contract (4‑6 months)
We need a developer who will build and customize IBM Sterling Order Management solutions for a fast‑growing client. Immediate joiners are preferred to support a 4‑6 month implementation of omnichannel supply‑chain services.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop IBM Sterling OMS applications with Java and Spring Boot.
Create and maintain REST APIs and microservices for enterprise integration.
Configure and customize OMS workflows to match business requirements.
Integrate OMS with ERP, WMS, e‑commerce and payment platforms.
Participate in code reviews, solution design sessions and Agile ceremonies.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure platform stability.
Document technical solutions and support deployment activities.
What You Need
5+ years of software development experience.
Hands‑on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System.
Strong Java programming skills, including Spring Boot.
Proven ability to build REST APIs and microservices.
Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent debugging, analytical and communication abilities.
Good to Have
Retail, e‑commerce or automotive domain experience.
Familiarity with IBM Sterling Call Center and Store Engagement modules.
Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, JMS and Web Services.
Exposure to cloud, containers and DevOps practices.
