What You’ll Do
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of backend features and APIs.
- Design and implement Java microservices and event‑driven components.
- Build data pipelines using Kafka, batch or streaming frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML services via internal and external APIs.
- Drive CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and production support.
- Conduct code reviews and root‑cause defect analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster inclusive teamwork.
What You Need
- 3+ years of Java backend development, preferably with Spring Boot.
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Hands‑on work with event‑driven systems and Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to write clean, testable code and perform automated testing.
Good to Have
- Master’s degree in CS, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and inclusive design.
- Cisco networking certification.
