Industry Consulting Snr. Consultant – Bengaluru Join a high‑impact project to migrate a legacy Data Lake to a modern Lakehouse, using AI‑assisted development to accelerate delivery. You’ll work with a global leader in digital services, shaping the next‑gen data platform for enterprise clients in Bangalore. What You’ll Do Design and execute the end‑to‑end migration to a Lakehouse architecture. Modernize data pipelines with Apache Spark, Iceberg/Delta Lake, and Snowflake. Refactor legacy Java/ETL code into AWS‑native services (EMR, Glue, Lambda). Leverage AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) and prompt engineering to speed code transformation. Build automated test suites and AI‑generated test cases for data integrity. Implement CI/CD and IaC practices on AWS for scalable, cost‑effective pipelines. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure governance and quality standards. What You Need Strong Java programming expertise. Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark (mandatory). Working knowledge of Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake table formats. Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse. Deep familiarity with AWS services (S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda). Proven use of AI coding assistants and prompt engineering. Background in large‑scale data migration and automated testing frameworks. Good to Have Experience driving enterprise‑level lakehouse or data‑mesh projects. AWS, Data Engineering, or Cloud Architecture certifications.
