What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver features for 8+ Spring Boot microservices using hexagonal architecture.
- Build domain‑driven services for model inventory, validation lifecycle, workflow orchestration and approvals.
- Implement BPMN/DMN workflows with Flowable for multi‑step approval processes.
- Own inter‑service communication via OpenFeign, ensuring resilient API contracts.
- Write Liquibase migrations and optimise PostgreSQL queries across service‑per‑database topology.
- Collaborate with analysts, validators and risk stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements.
- Drive platform evolution through service extraction, legacy migration and architectural improvements.
What You Need
- 15+ years Java backend development (Java 17/21).
- Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud.
- Proven microservice design, API contracts and OpenFeign usage.
- Advanced PostgreSQL schema design, query tuning and Liquibase migrations.
- Experience with CQRS, hexagonal architecture and RESTful/OpenAPI design.
- GCP & GKE deployment experience, including Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub and Helm.
- Strong Git workflow and CI/CD pipeline automation.
Good to Have
- Flowable or Camunda BPMN/DMN engine experience.
- Event‑driven design using Pub/Sub or Kafka.
- Background in financial services or regulatory technology.
