As a Java Developer, you’ll be involved in building and maintaining applications – basically, writing the code that makes things work! You’ll write clean and well-documented code, and help find and fix any issues that come up. You’ll also get to participate in discussions with the team about how to improve our code and processes. A big part of the role involves working with REST APIs, which are how different applications talk to each other, and building the backend services that power them. We follow standard software development practices to ensure quality. You’ll be expected to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies as they come along.
We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of Core Java concepts like OOPs, Collections, and Exception Handling. Some knowledge of how to connect to databases using JDBC, Hibernate, or JPA is helpful. Familiarity with Spring Boot is a plus, even at a basic level. Knowing SQL and how relational databases work is important, and any experience with REST APIs is great. It would be beneficial if you also have some basic knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and understand how to use Git for version control.
You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech, MCA, BCA, M.Sc) and have graduated between 2022 and 2024. Good communication and teamwork skills are also important.
This position is located in India and is an onsite role.
