Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced Java Developers with strong expertise in Spring Boot, XML processing, and Apache Camel to design and develop a parallel trade feed automation framework that enables seamless integration between trading platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial trade systems and middleware orchestration to help build a scalable, resilient solution for front-to-back trade data synchronization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based services and integrations using Spring Boot and Apache Camel.
• Build a parallel trade feed automation framework to bridge Murex 2.11 / WSS with Murex 3.1 / Sky.
• Work with XML-based trade data formats, transforming and validating messages across systems.
• Integrate and orchestrate data pipelines, ensuring minimal disruption to existing trade flows.
• Collaborate with business analysts, Murex/Wallstreet SMEs, and QA teams to ensure functional accuracy and performance.
• Implement exception handling, logging, and recovery logic to ensure robustness and maintainability.
• Support UAT and production rollouts, with readiness for incident resolution and defect fixing.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of Java development experience with focus on Spring Boot microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel for system integration and message routing.
• Deep working knowledge of XML – parsing, transformation (XSLT), schema validation.
• Exposure to financial trade systems like Murex (v2.11 / v3.1) and/or Wallstreet Suite (WSS) is highly desirable.
• Experience building integration layers between complex enterprise applications in Capital Markets domain.
• Familiarity with messaging protocols (e.g., JMS, Kafka) and REST/SOAP web services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of trade lifecycle in banking/markets environments.
Nice to Have:
• Prior work on trade reconciliation, enrichment, or transformation engines.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
