Virtusa is a global provider of digital business transformation and technology services, helping companies across various industries innovate and grow. We’re looking for a talented developer to join our team and build some really interesting applications!
You’ll be working on designing, developing, and taking care of applications using AWS Lambda – that’s building things that run in the cloud without needing servers you manage directly. A big part of the role involves building the backend of systems using Java and Spring Boot, and designing how these systems work together using a microservices approach, which helps things scale easily. You’ll also be integrating Kafka, which is used for quickly processing and sending data in real-time.
You’ll be working with other developers and teams to connect the backend to what users see and interact with. We also value keeping our code quality high, so you’ll participate in code reviews and help fix any issues that come up. Plus, you’ll have a chance to suggest ways to improve how we build things.
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should be comfortable with Java and Spring Boot, and have a good understanding of how serverless architecture and AWS Lambda work. Experience with Kafka is a plus. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are important too.
This position is located in India and the work mode is hybrid. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
