Your role
Key responsibilities include:
• Working as a team member, learning processes and tools.
• Escalating issues as required.
• Gaining knowledge in specific areas or products, relying on the team for domain expertise.
• Contributing to team learning and efficiency as experience is gained.
• Receiving task estimates from supervisors or mentors, with tasks of limited number and duration.
• Capturing actual efforts in status reports.
• Being aware of requirements in defined task areas.
• Implementing defined tasks and simple features or test cases with assistance.
• Writing and running tests in defined product areas, documenting problems found.
• Executing prewritten tests and documenting encountered problems.
• Participating in system set-up and maintenance.
• Providing initial analysis of problems in defined areas and assisting in problem resolution.
• Fixing defects in defined code areas and simple problems with assistance.
• Creating clear and accurate change/patch documentation.
• Reviewing test cases for clarity and accuracy.
• Handling Contacts and UCFs in defined product areas with assistance and expediting resolutions.
• Working effectively in virtual teams and receiving guidance from team members in any location.
• Participating in innovation activities as part of a team and creating knowledge documents.
About you
Candidates should possess the following:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required.
• No experience required; Intern/COOP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering concepts.
• Ability to work in a global team with multiple stakeholders across functions, business units, and geographical regions.
• Ability to communicate task information with clients.
• Team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good command over English.
