Junior Software Developer (Full Stack – Java/Angular)

Nila Apps is building EdRevel, a new learning platform that uses the power of Artificial Intelligence to help students learn in a more personalized and effective way. We’re looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our growing team!

You’ll be involved in building all parts of the application – from designing the user interface to developing the backend services and integrating AI features. You’ll be working on things like creating interactive learning experiences, building features powered by AI chatbots, and making sure everything runs smoothly and quickly.

Specifically, you’ll be developing applications using AI and machine learning, designing prompts to get the best results from AI models, and building backend systems with Java and Spring Boot. On the front end, you’ll be using Angular to create user-friendly interfaces. You’ll also work with databases like MySQL and help deploy our application to the cloud using tools like Docker and AWS. We also value writing clean, well-documented code and working closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers.

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. Experience with AI tools like OpenAI or Hugging Face is a plus, as is knowledge of building REST APIs and working with databases. Familiarity with cloud services and DevOps practices would be helpful too. We’d like to see around 2-3 years of experience, but we’re open to considering enthusiastic freshers with a strong foundation.

This position is located in Pune and is a hybrid role, meaning you’ll work both from the office and remotely. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
