Junior Software Developer (Full Stack – Java/Angular) at NILA APPS

NILA APPS is building EdRevel, a new kind of learning platform that uses the power of Artificial Intelligence to help students learn more effectively. We’re looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our growing team!

You’ll be involved in building all parts of the application – from the backend systems that power the AI, to the user interface students will interact with. You’ll be integrating AI models to personalize learning, designing prompts for AI chatbots, and building robust microservices with Java and Spring Boot. On the front end, you’ll be using Angular to create a smooth and engaging user experience. You’ll also work with databases like MySQL and help deploy our application using cloud technologies like AWS. A big part of the role involves making sure everything runs efficiently and is well-written, following good coding practices. You’ll be collaborating with AI engineers, designers, and product managers throughout the process.

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. Experience with AI tools like OpenAI or Hugging Face is a plus, as is knowing how to write effective prompts for AI models. You should be comfortable building REST APIs and working with relational databases. Familiarity with tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, would be beneficial. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are also important.

This position is located in India and is a hybrid role, meaning you’ll have a mix of working from the office and remotely.
