Software Developer in Test
Applexus Technologies builds innovative solutions for the financial services industry, helping our clients stay ahead in a rapidly changing world. We’re looking for a talented Software Developer in Test to join our growing team in India.
In this role, you’ll be making sure our applications are top-notch before they reach our customers. You’ll be digging into new features to understand how they work, and then creating plans and scripts to thoroughly test them. This includes checking everything from how things *look* to how well they *perform* under pressure. You’ll also be writing automated tests to speed things up and find issues quickly. When you discover a problem, you’ll clearly explain it to the developers and help them figure out how to fix it. You’ll work closely with developers, project managers, and other testers to deliver excellent quality.
We’re looking for someone with around 1-2 years of experience in software quality engineering. You should be comfortable with automation testing using either Java or Swift, and have worked with testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, XCTest, Playwright or Selenium. Experience testing web applications, APIs, or Mac/iOS apps is a big plus. Good communication skills are essential, as you’ll be explaining technical details to different teams. Familiarity with tools like Maven, Gradle, and Git is also helpful.
This position is based in India and is a hybrid role, meaning you’ll have a mix of working from the office and remotely.
