Lead Data Engineer – GCP | Dataflow | Java | BigQuery – Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Hybrid) | Full‑time

What You’ll Do
Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP.
Build real‑time and batch pipelines with Dataflow and Apache Beam.
Develop backend processing services in Java.
Create and tune BigQuery models for fast analytics.
Integrate data from APIs, databases, and streaming sources.
Optimize pipeline cost, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
What You Need
7+ years of data‑engineering experience.
Expert Java development skills.
Hands‑on GCP work, especially Dataflow/Apache Beam.
Deep experience with BigQuery for warehousing and analytics.
Proven ability to build batch and streaming pipelines.
Strong SQL and data‑modeling expertise.
CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodology experience.
Good to Have
Experience with Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Dataproc or Kafka.
Familiarity with Python or Spark.
Work on large‑scale enterprise data platforms.
