Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in React, Python, and AWS to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of innovative software solutions that drive the growth and success of our company. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. You will also be instrumental in mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance, and setting up best practices for software development. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end development, cloud technology, and the ability to architect complex software systems.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable software applications using React and Python.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Architect, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers.
• Ensure code quality by writing unit tests and conducting code reviews.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into projects.
• Coordinate with designers to ensure seamless user experience and interface design.
• Develop and enforce software development best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and optimize application performance.
• Work closely with DevOps to streamline deployment processes and automation.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as necessary.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress and next steps.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with React and Python.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and continuous integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
