Remote: This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

What you’ll get to do…
• Develop and build secure, scalable services to support millions of customer workloads, making strategic improvements to our platform.
• Set high standards for coding, testing, and security. Lead technical discussions and help develop the direction of GoDaddy’s hosting platform.
• Share your expertise to help teams deliver value, develop collaboration and support ongoing learning and growth.
• Improve monitoring and observability to quickly identify and resolve issues in production systems.
• Work with teams across GoDaddy to address broad challenges and promote newest technology solutions.
Your experience should include…
• 8+ years building and supporting high traffic critical software systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (such as Ruby, Java, Node.js, Python, Go, or PHP), with strong experience in AWS, CI/CD, Git, messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience crafting scalable architectures, including high performance REST APIs.
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Puppet, Ansible), Linux environments, and working with both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, Cassandra) databases.
• Strong sense of ownership, able to deliver results independently and collaboratively and committed to continuous improvement and learning.

• Hosting platform or large scale SaaS/PaaS experience
• Open source contributions or project maintenance
• Experience employing AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery
