As a PEGA Developer Freelancing cum consultant working remotely for a US Customer, you will be responsible for collaborating with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to understand business requirements and translate them into PEGA-based solutions. Your role will involve designing and developing PEGA applications using the PEGA PRPC platform, customizing and configuring applications to meet specific business needs, and implementing PEGA best practices to ensure quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Unit testing and debugging of PEGA applications will be essential to ensure they meet quality standards. Collaboration with other developers and technical teams to integrate PEGA applications with other systems and technologies will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentor team members as needed.
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in PEGA PRPC development is required, along with proficiency in PEGA PRPC tools such as PEGA Designer Studio, PEGA Express, PEGA Case Designer, PEGA Data Designer, and PEGA App Studio. A solid understanding of PEGA application architecture, frameworks, and design principles is necessary.
Experience in designing and implementing PEGA solutions using PEGA PRPC version 7.x or higher is preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with working in a global delivery model and flexibility to align with US hours are expected. The role also requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.,
