Job Overview – Python Developer Jobs in Mumbai
This is a full-time, work-from-office opportunity based in Mumbai for backend developers with 2–4 years of strong experience in Python, web frameworks (preferably Django/Flask), REST APIs, and PostgreSQL/MySQL.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement backend logic, APIs, and microservices using Python
• Build, maintain, and scale RESTful APIs for web/mobile applications
• Write efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable code
• Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, messaging platforms, etc.)
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and optimise performance
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
• Follow best practices for Git, unit testing, security, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in code reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in backend Python development
• Strong experience with Django or Flask
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL), and ORM libraries
• Good understanding of MVC/MVT architecture
• Familiarity with Git, unit testing frameworks (Pytest/Unittest)
• Solid understanding of security, performance optimisation, and clean code
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with Redis, Celery, or message queues (RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Exposure to Docker, Linux, and basic DevOps workflows
• Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g. FastAPI, asyncio)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization

This is a work-from-office role based in Mumbai. Applicants must be currently located in Mumbai.
