Think People Solutions in Pune needs a Python tech lead who can actually *ship* things. We’re building software products for a global client base, and frankly, need someone to own feature delivery from ambiguity to production. Expect daily interaction with the CTO and a technically sharp leadership team – this isn’t a backroom coding gig.
You’ll be architecting and scaling production systems in the cloud, designing APIs (REST/gRPC, microservices are key), and ensuring robust authentication. Deep Python experience is non-negotiable – we’re talking Behave, PyTest, generators, async operations, the whole stack. Proficiency in at least one major framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy) is essential. Some JavaScript/ReactJS experience is a plus.
This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to manage risk – client expectations are high, and overlap with international time zones is a given. You’ll be leveraging AI to streamline implementation across the board, from unit tests to CI/CD automation – a challenging but rewarding prospect. Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, networking) are, of course, expected.
The team is currently small but growing rapidly, meaning you’ll have significant influence on technical direction. And while we value autonomy, this isn’t a role for someone who shies away from collaboration. Expect to justify your design choices and take full ownership.
