Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop robust backend applications using Python.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between server and client.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Manage and optimize multiple databases and data storage solutions.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain version control in Git.
• Gather and analyze user requirements to provide optimal solutions
• Contribute to project documentation and specifications.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain quality assurance processes to ensure best practices are enforced.
• Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprints and meetings.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 1-2 yrs of experience in Python development.
• Strong understanding of Django or Flask web frameworks.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
