What You’ll Do
- Document current and future processes for migration planning.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java Spring Boot microservices on GCP.
- Create prototypes and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Automate testing, monitoring, and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers to deliver roadmap features.
- Estimate schedules and manage delivery timelines.
- Guide CI/CD practices and mentor junior engineers.
What You Need
- 8+ years of Java development with Spring Boot.
- Deep experience building microservices and using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
- Strong grasp of SDLC, testing, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to design technical architecture and make strategic decisions.
- Experience documenting “as‑is” and “to‑be” process flows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
