What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain scalable backend services using Python and related technologies.
- Build, secure, and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
- Write, tune, and manage complex SQL queries across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Develop data‑processing pipelines and integration workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Lead code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and other engineering teams.
What You Need
- 5‑10 years of backend development experience.
- Strong Python programming expertise.
- Deep practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Proven ability to design and implement REST APIs.
- Experience with backend architecture and system design.
- Proficiency in performance optimization and query tuning.
- Excellent communication and technical ownership skills.
Good to Have
