Senior Data Engineer – Data Mapping & Integration – Bengaluru Join an international data engineering team that builds the backbone for digital channels, analytics and operational reporting. You’ll combine hands‑on data mapping with end‑to‑end pipeline delivery, ensuring source data is accurately modelled, governed and available to downstream consumers. What You’ll Do Own and deliver source‑to‑target mappings aligned to the enterprise common data model. Lead mapping workshops, capture requirements and document gaps and change requests. Validate mappings with SQL queries and report data‑quality metrics. Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, SSIS and cloud tooling. Monitor production batch runs, resolve incidents and optimise performance. Perform impact analysis on data‑model changes and keep metadata up‑to‑date. Collaborate in Agile squads, communicating progress, risks and dependencies. What You Need 5+ years experience in data engineering and integration roles. Proven track record delivering source‑to‑target data mappings against a common model. Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, views, stored procedures, performance tuning). Hands‑on experience building and supporting ETL processes (SQL Server, SSIS). Strong understanding of relational models, OLTP and OLAP environments. Experience working in Agile teams with cross‑functional stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities. Good to Have Cloud platform exposure (AWS or Azure). Python, Databricks or modern data‑engineering frameworks. Familiarity with metadata tools such as Collibra. Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
