You’ll work on a modern data stack, fine‑tuning Snowflake and Azure environments while collaborating with analysts and engineers across the business. This role offers 100 % remote flexibility and a 12‑month-plus contract with a clear path to extension. What You’ll Do Build and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in SQL and Python. Optimize Snowflake data warehouse performance and control cloud spend. Orchestrate workflows with Airflow or Azure Data Factory. Conduct code reviews, testing, and enforce data‑quality standards. Automate repetitive tasks to streamline data operations. Partner with business users to translate data needs into reliable solutions. Document and monitor pipeline health for proactive issue resolution. What You Need 5+ years of data engineering or data‑operations experience. Advanced SQL and Python proficiency. Hands‑on experience with Snowflake (or comparable cloud warehouse). Work history on Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms. Familiarity with DBT and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory. Solid grasp of data modeling and warehousing concepts. Version‑control using Git and CI/CD pipeline experience. Good to Have Databricks knowledge. Track record of cloud cost optimization and performance tuning. Experience with large‑scale data migrations. Background in the airline industry.
