You will build and optimise a cloud‑native data platform that powers modern analytics. The role focuses on migrating legacy SSIS pipelines to a dbt‑driven ELT architecture on Snowflake, improving data accessibility, performance, and governance across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do
Define enterprise‑wide dbt architecture standards and naming conventions.
Convert complex SSIS transformations into modular dbt models (staging, intermediate, mart).
Lead migration of legacy ETL pipelines to a scalable ELT framework.
Create reusable macro libraries and migration accelerators for rapid delivery.
Design and implement data quality, reconciliation, and testing frameworks.
Work with Snowflake engineers to optimise clustering, warehouse usage, and query performance.
Establish CI/CD pipelines, version‑control policies, and comprehensive documentation.

What You Need
7+ years in data engineering/ETL‑ELT development.
Deep expertise designing enterprise‑scale dbt transformation architectures.
Hands‑on experience migrating SSIS to dbt‑based ELT pipelines.
Proven ability to build reusable dbt macros and modelling standards.
Strong background in dimensional modelling and analytical layer design.
Practical knowledge of Snowflake performance tuning (clustering, warehouse sizing).
Experience setting up CI/CD workflows with GIT or Azure DevOps.
