Orange95, a technology company focused on data-driven solutions, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team remotely from Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India. We specialize in transforming data into actionable insights for businesses and are dedicated to innovation and a collaborative work environment.
This full-time position requires a minimum of 7 years of data engineering experience and an immediate start. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and systems that support our organization’s analytical and operational needs. This includes data model development, optimization of data storage, and the creation of ETL workflows. You will work closely with various teams to build scalable data infrastructure and solve complex business problems.
Candidates should possess strong data engineering and data modeling skills, with proven experience in ETL process design and implementation. Hands-on experience with data warehousing and large-scale data storage systems is essential, as is the ability to perform data analytics and extract valuable insights. Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions is a plus. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala, and particularly Pyspark, is necessary. We are looking for someone with significant experience using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouses, pipelines, notebooks, etc.) and Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pools, with a solid understanding of the Azure data ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing analytics solutions with Microsoft Fabric, supporting and maintaining our data analytics platform on Azure Synapse Dedicated Pools, developing scalable data pipelines and transformations using PySpark, writing and optimizing SQL for analytical workloads, and ensuring data quality and reliability. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
