Lead a high‑impact Machine Learning Infrastructure team that powers real‑time predictions, model serving, and AI experiences for millions of customers. This fully remote role lets you work from home while collaborating across India and the US, with occasional office visits for team events.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of ML infrastructure engineers in India.
- Partner with US MLE leadership to set roadmap and priorities.
- Architect and evolve model serving, inference pipelines, and GPU scheduling on AWS.
- Own CI/CD platform for automated training, testing, deployment, and rollback.
- Collaborate daily with scientists, data engineers, and product managers across time zones.
- Drive quarterly roadmap planning, risk reporting, and on‑call incident response.
What You Need
- 5+ years engineering management experience, including hiring and performance reviews.
- 10+ years software development with Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- 3+ years hands‑on AWS (ECS/EKS, SageMaker, DynamoDB, S3).
- Strong system design, microservices, and distributed architecture expertise.
- Deep CI/CD knowledge—building automated pipelines for deployment and testing.
- Excellent English communication for cross‑time‑zone coordination.
Good to Have
- Experience with ML model serving frameworks such as Triton or SageMaker endpoints.
- Familiarity with observability stacks like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- Background in GPU workload scheduling and cost optimisation.
