As a Senior Project Financial Analyst at Advanced Group, you will be providing financial and analytical support for Clinical studies while also training and mentoring team members. You will play a crucial role in identifying risks, analyzing data, and confidently presenting findings and recommendations related to the financial well-being of Clinical studies. Your responsibilities will include preparing Clinical trial workbooks, managing study revenue, recognizing pass-through costs, metrics, and providing support to Operations and Sponsors.

Your role will involve applying financial and accounting standards, policies, and controls to mitigate risks related to Clinical studies. You will assist in forecasting, providing accurate financial analysis, and supporting Project Managers and Functional Area Leads with financial recommendations. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing Clinical trial project set-up, reviewing contracts, ensuring timely reconciliations, and providing financial support for revenue, cash flow, profitability, and more.

Effective communication and collaboration are key aspects of this role, as you will be liaising with Clinical leadership, Operations, Management, and Sponsors to address inquiries, concerns, and support financial goals. You will participate in staff review processes, engage with stakeholders, and actively monitor industry trends to drive performance management at the Clinical Finance level.

To qualify for this role, you should have 5-7 years of Finance or Accounting experience, with previous Project Accounting experience being a plus. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, while an advanced degree (MBA) or CPA certification would be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to address data integrity issues are essential for success in this position.
