Join a global technology team responsible for building and evolving the core platform that calculates and disseminates benchmark index values. You’ll lead modernization of .NET MVC applications to cloud‑native solutions and drive migration to Java‑based services.
What You’ll Do
- Assess existing .NET/C# MVC apps for performance, security, and coupling.
- Define and execute a cloud‑native modernization roadmap on AWS.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, networking, and observability foundations.
- Lead migration of .NET code paths to Java services using API adapters.
- Set standards for clean code, automated testing, and release governance.
- Embed security practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability scanning into development.
What You Need
- 5–7 years of software development experience in Java/J2EE and .NET C#.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Spring, Hibernate, and MVC web frameworks.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including T‑SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Fortify.
- Unix scripting and basic networking knowledge.
Good to Have
- Experience handling large equity, commodities, or derivatives datasets.
- Background in index, benchmark, or asset‑management platforms.
- UI development skills with jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
