What You’ll Do
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed, global engineering team.
- Write high‑quality Python code for new features and bug fixes.
- Maintain and improve automated test suites and code quality standards.
- Participate in code and architectural reviews.
- Own problem diagnosis, design, and delivery of solutions.
- Assist with release management each development cycle.
- Coordinate with DevOps on Canonical’s hosted Landscape SaaS.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM field.
- Strong experience building public‑facing APIs and web applications in Python.
- Proficiency with Flask or Django web frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and ORMs.
- Comfort working on Ubuntu for development and deployment.
- Demonstrated commitment to code quality and automated testing.
- Ability to work remotely and travel 2–4 weeks annually for team events.
