Software Developer (m/f/d) – India Driving CAM and tool‑management excellence for a high‑volume industrial production line, this role bridges manufacturing planning and IT to deliver stable processes and standardized data across sites. What You’ll Do Act as the Siemens NX CAM, TDM Systems and Vericut application expert. Analyse and optimise toolpaths, post‑processors, simulations and tool libraries. Lead CAM‑related projects including implementations, upgrades and process‑harmonisation. Collaborate with production planning, tool management, IT and workshop teams. Provide 2nd and 3rd level application support in a production‑close environment. Ensure seamless integration between CAM, TDM, CNC machines, MES and PLM systems. Define and enforce CAM standards, templates, tool catalogs and best‑practice documentation. What You Need 9–12 years experience in CAM roles within manufacturing environments. Deep expertise in Siemens NX CAM, TDM Systems and Vericut. Proficiency in TDM Macro Language scripting and customization. Strong background in tool‑path analysis, post‑processor tuning and simulation debugging. Hands‑on administration of TDM: installation, configuration, database structures and lifecycle management. Experience integrating NX CAM with CNC, MES/PLM (Teamcenter, SAP) and SQL troubleshooting. Proven record of delivering 2nd/3rd level support and leading CAM projects. Good to Have Automation/scripting skills using NX Open, VB or Python. Experience with global CAM standardisation or harmonisation initiatives. Ability to automate CAM templates, tool‑data handling or simulation workflows.
