Job Description: Software Engineer – AI Developer (Amazon Bedrock /Agentic AI)
Overview
We are looking for a talented Amazon Bedrock Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using AWS Bedrock, Textract, Guardrails, and Agents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating foundation models with document processing, compliance frameworks, and autonomous agents to deliver secure and intelligent enterprise solutions.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about building responsible AI applications in the cloud while ensuring scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or Haystack.
• Knowledge of vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, Weaviate) for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Previous experience building AI copilots, assistants, or chatbots.
• AWS Certifications (e.g., Machine Learning Specialty, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
• Background in document intelligence or NLP applications.
Requirements
• AI Application Development: Build and optimize generative AI applications leveraging Amazon Bedrock foundation models for text, conversation, and semantic search.
• Document Intelligence: Integrate Amazon Textract with Bedrock to extract structured data from unstructured documents for downstream processing.
• Responsible AI: Implement Amazon Bedrock Guardrails to enforce content moderation, compliance, and safety policies across generative AI outputs.
• Autonomous Agents: Design and deploy Bedrock Agents to handle multi-step reasoning, orchestration, and integration with enterprise systems.
• API & Workflow Integration: Connect Bedrock applications with internal APIs, third-party services, and data pipelines for real-time insights.
• Scalability & Optimization: Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure high availability of Bedrock-powered services.
• Security & Compliance: Apply AWS best practices for IAM, encryption, and monitoring to safeguard sensitive data and AI-driven workflows.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with data scientists, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay current with new AWS AI/ML services and emerging best practices in generative AI.
• Proven experience with AWS Bedrock (foundation models, Guardrails, Agents).
• Hands-on expertise with Amazon Textract for document extraction and processing.
• Proficiency in C#, Python or Node.js for backend and AI workflow development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
• Experience in prompt engineering and model orchestration.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of AI security and compliance practices.
