Software Engineer, Data – Bengaluru
A fast‑growing fintech team is looking for an experienced software engineer to design and run data‑intensive solutions. This associate‑level role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a clear path to sharpen your technical expertise.
What You’ll Do
Engineer secure, high‑performance, customer‑centric data solutions.
Build and maintain complex software, scripts, and tools within a feature team.
Deliver high‑quality code rapidly, from design through deployment.
Own the full software lifecycle, including enhancements and decommissioning.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and other engineers to optimise delivery.
Conduct testing, debugging, and production support for data applications.
What You Need
8‑10 years in IT application development, with ≥8 years hands‑on DB work (Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle).
3+ years using reporting/visualisation tools such as OBIEE or Tableau.
Deep experience in data modeling, dimensional modeling, and database normalization.
Strong grasp of ETL processes, data‑warehousing concepts, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda).
Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Git, GitLab, TeamCity, JIRA, SonarQube.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to Have
Prior experience in the finance sector, especially Treasury.
