The Software Engineer will be part of a team of Software Engineers, DBAs, Business Analysts and QA Engineers. The Software Engineer will have solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Node.js, React, Java, .NET, Python, C#, REST, JSON, XML, HTML / HTML5, CSS, NoSQL and similar non-relational databases, relational databases, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure to name a few.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and Manage projects with .NET, JAVA, C#, REST, .NET, Node.js, React, Web development, AWS, Full stack design and architecture.
- Write well designed, testable, tight, efficient, high quality code base by using industry standard software development practices using C#/Java/PHP/Node.js/React.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Collaborate closely with groups in and outside the development team.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML5/CSS practices.
- Analyze, design, develop and unit test web applications and tools with high quality and on schedule.
- Analyze, program, and modify software enhancement requests.
- Participate in deployment and verification of major/minor releases.
- Recognize urgency from a business-impact level and act accordingly.
- Maintain and promote consistent behaviors and delivery across the team.
- Review test results and evaluate for delivery of product.
- Partner closely with the Architecture Team and senior technical members on the team.
- You should be technically savvy, communicate effectively and have a strong curiosity for new technologies.
- Work with business analysts to finalize business requirements and product definition.

- 1+ year minimum experience in a Software Engineering role and developing enterprise software.
- Solid experience in object-oriented design and development with languages such as C# or Java. Experience in Node.js and React is required.
- Solid experience in design and development with emerging technologies such as Node.js, React and Python, and traditional technologies such as Java, .NET, C#.
- Solid expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and strong working knowledge of REST API’s and building publicly consumable RESTful services.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database concepts such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Understanding of HTTP/S and Web-based application architecture.
- Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver working solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery.
- Extensive hands on experience designing and implementing API’s.
- Ability to effectively communicate with developers, project managers, UX, QA and the leadership team.
- Deep knowledge of scrum/agile development methodologies.
- Master’s degree or higher education in Computer Science preferred or equivalent professional experience.
