Join a fast‑growing team building cutting‑edge virtual storage and data‑management solutions. You’ll develop, test, and debug new products while enhancing existing ones, solving complex problems end‑to‑end.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement backend features for virtual storage products.
- Debug low‑level C/C++ code using gdb/lldb and core dumps.
- Profile and optimize performance of I/O and networking stacks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
- Resolve storage‑related issues such as caching, snapshots, and replication.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and thorough documentation.
What You Need
- 5+ years systems programming in C or C++.
- Deep knowledge of filesystems, block I/O, RAID, and snapshots.
- Strong Linux internals experience (memory, threading, I/O stack).
- Expertise debugging distributed, highly available systems.
- Proficiency with performance profiling and capacity planning.
- Ability to drive ambiguous technical work independently.
Good to Have
- Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi, KVM/QEMU.
- Familiarity with cloud storage services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking patterns.
- Knowledge of NVMe, iSCSI, NFS/SMB, S3, and multipath/HA setups.
