This is a remote position seeking a Senior Backend Cloud Developer with over 10 years of experience. The contract duration is for a minimum of 6 months with US shift timings EST (4.30 PM to 12.30 AM IST). The role requires excellent communication skills and an immediate joiner.
The ideal candidate should possess 10+ years of commercial experience in backend development using C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET. They should have expertise in developing and integrating RESTful Web APIs, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and clean code practices. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure PaaS Services, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Service Fabric is essential.
Candidates should also have experience working with microservice architecture in a cloud environment, practical experience using Docker for development and deployment, and an understanding of containerization concepts in cloud-based applications. Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, preferably Cosmos DB, is required. Additionally, experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams is important.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing Azure-based containerized applications, developing proof of concepts and prototypes, providing multiple solutions to technical problems, offering technical documentation such as design documents, maintaining existing backend products, implementing new features and enhancements, implementing industry best practices in cloud/backend development, and diagnosing, triaging, and resolving defects identified during the Quality Engineering process.,
