As a Senior Software Developer and Tech Lead for the Digital Chit Fund project based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical aspects of the application. Your responsibilities will include owning the architecture, guiding development sprints, managing the database, and mentoring the development team to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality product.
Your key responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing a scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack architecture using Flutter and MongoDB. You will lead agile development cycles, manage tasks through tools like Jira or Trello, and oversee sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for architecting the MongoDB schema, maintaining data integrity, and optimizing database performance for financial transactions. Ensuring code quality through best practices, code reviews, and version control using Git will also be part of your role. Moreover, you will guide and mentor frontend, backend, and intern developers to create a collaborative and productive team environment. You will also actively code on both the Flutter frontend and backend (e.g., Node.js) as necessary to meet project deadlines.
To excel in this position, you should possess over 5 years of software development experience, including leading small technical teams. Your expertise should include a strong command of Flutter for frontend development, proficiency in a backend language like Node.js or Python, and a deep understanding of MongoDB, encompassing schema design, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning. Demonstrable experience in running projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies will be invaluable.
