Ola Electric is India’s largest 2W electric vehicle company. In 2021, Ola set up one of India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing facility “Ola Futurefactory”, and now has close to 400,000 electric scooters on the road. The company recently showcased its motorcycle portfolio and the product roadmap, which will be introduced by the end of next year. In addition to 2W expansion and proposed 4W EV manufacturing plans, the company is heavily investing in core technologies and in cutting edge cell chemistry research at its Battery Innovation Centre in Bengaluru, as well as setting up a Gigafactory that will be operational by next year.
