Systems Engineer (Offshore Wind Substation Projects) — Systems Engineer – Mumbai

Join a leading EPC firm to design and deliver offshore wind substation systems that power the next generation of clean energy. This role bridges electrical, structural, mechanical, and automation disciplines, giving you exposure to high‑profile projects and global standards.

What You’ll Do
Develop system‑level requirements and specifications for offshore wind substation topsides.
Assist in architecture and interface definition across HV, auxiliary, and SCADA/telecom packages.
Perform load‑flow, power system studies, and engineering simulations.
Coordinate technical interfaces between HV suppliers, structural engineers, and automation teams.
Track and resolve integration issues, maintaining an up‑to‑date interface register.
Contribute to FAT, SIT, and offshore commissioning tests.

What You Need
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Power Systems, Offshore/Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in HV substation, offshore wind, or oil & gas projects.
Hands‑on knowledge of GIS, transformers, switchgear, protection, and cable systems.
Proficiency with ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, or MATLAB/Simulink.
Familiarity with DNV‑ST‑0145, IEC 61892, and ISO 19900 series standards.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in multi‑disciplinary teams.

Good to Have
Experience with SCADA, automation, and telecom systems on offshore platforms.
Prior exposure to design reviews with certifying bodies or grid operators.
