Talend+ Data Engineer – India
Looking for a data engineer who can design robust Talend pipelines and drive end‑to‑end data integration across the enterprise. The position supports Persistent Systems’ push for scalable data solutions. It offers exposure to diverse data sources and modern data‑warehouse technologies.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend and related tools.
Build scalable data ingestion workflows for warehouses and data lakes.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
Implement data transformation logic to meet business requirements.
Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks across pipelines.
Troubleshoot job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data anomalies.
Collaborate with analysts, architects, and stakeholders for requirements and testing.
What You Need
6+ years experience in data engineering and ETL development.
Hands‑on expertise with Talend Data Integration (DI) for building pipelines.
Strong programming skills in Python for data processing and automation.
Advanced SQL knowledge and experience writing stored procedures.
Experience with relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and large‑scale transformations.
Proven ability to ensure data quality, validation, and performance tuning.
